iBOTA Segara Rupek Beach, February 15th-16th, 2025
Amateur radio enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The Buleleng Amateur Radio Club is excited to announce the first iBOTA (Beaches on the Air) activation at Segara Rupek Beach in Bali. This landmark event is set to take place on February 15th and 16th, 2025, making it a significant moment in the iBOTA 2.0 program.
The Shorecasters
The event will feature a series of activators, each working on the 40M SSB band and aiming to explore other bands for higher points. Here is the schedule of activations:
The activation will feature a maximum of 6 shorecasters on the first day and 5 Shorecasters on the second day. Notably, the Buleleng Amateur Radio Club Chairman, Old Man Putu Mangku Mertayasa - YE9DD, will be among the shorecasters on Day 1.

Preparation and Ceremonies
Preparations for the activation will be completed by February 14th, with an early start on February 15th at 6 am local time. Activators will commence their activities following a traditional Balinese religious ceremony to honor the local customs and culture.
